Pay Rate: $40.00 Per Hour + OT Rate / $2,200.00 Per Week
Start Date:  April 12, 2026 for 16 weeks
Hours:  Sunday to Thursday 8:00pm – 6:00am (50 Hours)
Shift Type: Non-sleeping overnight shift, Live-out

Job Details
We are seeking a highly experienced certified Newborn Care Specialist to support a family in Stillwater, MN. This position is available mid-April for 16 weeks.

Responsibilities include overnight feeding, diapering, and soothing, as well as preparing and sterilizing bottles, maintaining detailed overnight journals, and supporting healthy sleep and feeding routines.  The NCS will also handle standard nursery duties and infant laundry. The family has a daytime nanny in place, and the NCS is expected to partner closely with them to promote consistent and coordinated care.
This is a non-sleeping overnight shift. The NCS is expected to remain awake and attentive throughout the shift to actively care for the infant.
Please note: This is a W-2 household employment position.  The Newborn Care Specialist will be legally employed and paid through a household payroll service, ensuring full compliance with all tax and labor laws.  This role is not structured as an independent contractor or 1099 position.

Requirements

• Certified Newborn Care Specialist (NCS)
• 5+ years of professional newborn experience
• Current TDAP, and flu vaccinations (or willingness to update prior to start)
• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Demonstrated experience with overnight, non-sleeping NCS shifts
• Excellent references
