Inside Their World

This loving first-time parent household is welcoming support as they care for their twin baby girls. At nine weeks old, they’re still showing who they are in small ways. Twin B settles a little easier, while Twin A can need extra soothing as the day winds down. They still haven’t established a routine yet. At night, they sometimes wake up around the same time crying for a feeding. Putting them back to sleep isn’t always easy for both of them. Both of them find comfort when snuggled in your arms, and they respond best to a calm, confident presence.

Family Environment

Mom and Dad are both physicians, and despite demanding schedules, parenting has become the most meaningful part of their day. They are hands-on, attentive, and very tuned into their babies’ needs. Their parenting style is rooted in warmth, responsiveness, and creating predictable rhythms so that everyone can rest, recover, and enjoy this new season.

Evenings often look like slow walks, cozy time at home, or trying a nearby restaurant when the girls are content and settled. They genuinely enjoy being together and appreciate caregivers who bring steadiness, kindness, and professionalism into the home. Reliability means a lot to them, as does someone who communicates openly and respects the care philosophy they’re building. They also have a gentle, friendly cat who likes to be part of the household flow.

Who Thrives Here
This role is ideal for someone who has truly lived in the world of newborn twins and understands the emotional and physical rhythm that comes with caring for two babies at once. The strongest fit will be a confident, deeply experienced NCS or infant-savvy nanny who leads with calm presence, steady patience, and an intuitive understanding of what each baby needs moment to moment.

They will know when to step in with skill, for example, adjusting feeding positions, soothing techniques, or guiding sleep shaping, and when to simply hold space and soothe. Their approach should feel nurturing, gentle, and attentive, creating an environment where both babies feel secure. This person shows up with reliability, warmth, and professionalism, communicates clearly with parents, and understands that every day looks a little different at this stage. They will prioritize emotional comfort, developmental progress, and healthy routines.

Daily Rhythm

The candidate will oversee care for the twins throughout the day, including feeding, soothing, diapering, and settling routines. Responsibilities also include bottle prep and sanitization, nursery organization, and keeping clear logs to support consistent feeding and sleep patterns. The right candidate will create a calm, nurturing environment that promotes healthy rhythms and emotional comfort. Responsibilities will also include planning fun, educational, and age-appropriate activities, and establishing healthy routines for sleep and feeding. The nanny will help maintain children’s common areas by keeping play spaces and bedrooms tidy, as well as handling cleanup after the children’s and nanny’s meals and loading and emptying the dishwasher. This includes washing and sterilizing bottles and breast pump parts and safely handling, preparing, and storing breast milk. Additional duties include laundering children’s clothing and linens, emptying the diaper pail, restocking the diaper bag, and sending photo updates throughout the day.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of professional childcare & recent newborn experience
  • Certified NCS or infant savvy nanny with extensive hands-on newborn experience— expert in twins care
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Reliable and insured vehicle
  • Clean driving record & ability to pass a background check
  • Pet-friendly
  • CPR and First Aid trained; flu and Tdap vaccinated required
