Inside Their World:

After a wonderful long-term experience with a Pink Nanny, this warm dual physician family is seeking a calm and reliable nanny to support them in caring for their 7 and 5-year-old sons, and their 3-year-old daughter.

Their 7-year-old is an active second-grader who enjoys all sorts of after-school activities like nature, chess, and fitness clubs. He loves sports, often plays basketball and soccer in the backyard, and he’s looking to start baseball lessons soon. He has strong opinions and is very smart, creative, and a bit silly. He’s also a big fan of nature and animals.

Their 5-year-old son is easygoing and sweet. He’s in preschool four days a week, half a day, and he will be attending his older brother’s school for Kindergarten in the fall. While he can be quieter when on his own, he is energetic and playful when he’s with his big brother. He looks up to him, loves playing together, and always tries to keep up with his adventures. He enjoys swimming, theatre, and karate.

Their 3-year-old daughter is a very sweet and calm toddler. She attends school three times a week, half a day with her older brother. Mom and Dad describe her as a bundle of joy, and she’s very pleasant to be around. She loves playing with her dollhouse and doing art. She enjoys playing with her brothers and matching their energy and is also comfortable playing independently when her interests shift.

Family Environment:

Mom and Dad value a home grounded in organization and structure, balanced with fun and a belief in learning through play. Both parents  identify as introverts and are intentional about raising well behaved, respectful children. While Dad is more laid back and Mom prefers clear routines and defined expectations, they share an approach of meeting their children where they are while maintaining consistent boundaries with a calm approach. As a family, they enjoy traveling together throughout the year. During these trips, their nanny will not be expected to travel with them and will receive time off.

Who Thrives Here:

This family’s perfect match is a patient, kind and well-rounded individual who stays composed in every situation and meets the children at their level. They are capable of addressing challenges with a soothing, emotionally attuned approach to help the children regulate their emotions. The ideal nanny is dependable and consistently punctual, arriving on time each day with a positive attitude and confidently handling transportation to and from activities. The right candidate will be energetic, joyful and creative, genuinely interested in the children and ready to engage in active play with them. They will also be flexible to accommodate up to 5 extra hours per week, if the parents’ work schedule requires it.

Daily Rhythm:

The nanny will be responsible for providing attentive care to school-age children and one toddler, supporting their routines and needs at all times. They will safely drive the kids to and from activities, come up with age-appropriate educational activities to foster learning, engage in active play with them, and assist with homework. They will tidy up children's common spaces, handle their laundry, rotate toys and seasonal clothes, prepare snacks and simple meals, and provide sick care if needed.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of professional childcare experience
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Reliable and insured vehicle
  • Clean driving record & ability to pass a background check
  • Must know how to swim & be comfortable caring for children in and near water
  • Calm, patient, and flexible
