Description
A warm and welcoming family relocating to Chatham, New Jersey is seeking an experienced, nurturing, and engaging full-time live-out nanny to join their household. The nanny will provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for their toddler while supporting early learning, language development, and consistent daily routines.
The family values patience, creativity, reliability, and strong communication. This is a wonderful long-term opportunity for a nanny who enjoys working collaboratively with parents and growing with a family.
The home includes two friendly dogs, so comfort around pets is required.
Primary responsibilities include engaging the child in age-appropriate play and learning activities, supporting early English language and speech development, preparing healthy snacks and simple meals, cleaning up after meals and playtime, maintaining structure and consistency with daily routines, providing infant care as needed with attention to sleep and feeding schedules, assisting with unpacking and organizing after the move, and handling light child-related household tasks only.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of five years of professional childcare experience, preferably with toddlers and infants, demonstrated experience supporting early language development, is kind, patient, proactive, and reliable, is comfortable working in partnership with parents, is a non-smoker, comfortable with dogs, CPR and First Aid certified or willing to obtain, and has a bachelor’s degree or early childhood education background as a plus
