Inside Their World:

We are seeking one collaborative and flexible nanny to support two households, in Eastlake and Kirtland, in caring for a 4-year-old girl and newborns arriving in March and September.

This opportunity is designed for a nanny who appreciates continuity, connection, and becoming part of a larger family ecosystem. Two sisters, each with their own household, are intentionally seeking one caregiver to support both homes.

Each household offers a part-time role, and together they form a thoughtfully coordinated full-time schedule. Care does not happen simultaneously, and this is not a shared-care arrangement. Instead, the families value consistency for their children and believe the right caregiver can build deeper bonds by being present across both homes.

One home includes a 4-year-old who attends preschool and will begin kindergarten next year, with a new baby arriving in September. The second home is welcoming a newborn in early March. The schedule flows between homes with advance planning, clear communication, and respect for the nanny’s time and routine.

These families are close, supportive, and aligned in how they raise their children. They love travel, outdoor time, learning through play, and creating a warm, connected environment. Their hope is to welcome someone who feels like an extension of their family, not a rotating provider.

Family Environment:

These are warm, respectful homes where caregivers are treated like family and included naturally in daily life. They often share meals, value open communication, and mutual respect are part of the culture.

One sister works outside her home, while the other will be home more frequently during the newborn phase. Expectations are clear, boundaries are respected, and once care is handed off, it is trusted.

Pets are part of the family dynamic. One household has three older, gentle dogs, and the other has one young dog. The nanny should be comfortable in dog-friendly homes and assisting with pet-related care.

Who Thrives Here:

This role is well suited for a nanny who values connection, consistency, and a true sense of belonging. The families are seeking someone who is calm, grounded, and emotionally mature, with a naturally nurturing presence that feels supportive without being overbearing. The right candidate is proactive yet flexible, confident enough to take initiative while remaining open to adapting as needs evolve. Gentle, clear communication and the ability to read the room and handle transitions smoothly are essential.

Experience with newborns and early childhood is required, along with current CPR and First Aid certification. A valid driver’s license, a reliable and insured vehicle, and comfort transporting children are also necessary. This position will resonate most with someone who wants to grow alongside a family over time and feels genuinely invested in the children they care for.

Daily Rhythm:

A schedule will be provided well in advance to support predictability and planning. You will know your schedule in three-month intervals. Days will include newborn care and feeding support, preschool pickup and drop-off, driving the 4-year-old to activities such as gymnastics, facilitating creative play and outdoor time, and supporting age appropriate learning. The nanny will also handle child related meal preparation, laundry, and organization. During quieter moments, the caregiver is expected to reset play spaces, rotate toys and books, and maintain organized, welcoming environments for the children. In addition, the nanny will be in charge of caring for each family’s dogs.

Travel may occasionally be part of the role, including long weekends, domestic trips, and less frequent international travel. Participation in travel is considered a bonus and is not required.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of professional childcare experience
  • Previous experience caring for newborns
  • Flexible to accommodate evolving schedule needs
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Reliable and insured vehicle
  • Clean driving record & ability to pass a background check
  • Pet friendly, and comfortable with providing pet care
