FULL-TIME FAMILY ASSISTANT (W/NANNY EXPERIENCE)-MIAMI BASED WITH REGULAR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL
An UHNW, internationally mobile family is seeking a full-time Family Assistant with Nanny experience to support daily household operations and assist with light cooking, tidying up, general light upkeep, some child support (there is a nanny and mom is hands-on), across multiple residences. This is a long-term, travel-based role, based out of Miami during the Florida season, with international travel beginning in late March and continuing for extended periods throughout the year.
This role is best suited for an energetic, service-oriented, organized, and adaptable professional who understands how to operate within a high-functioning UHNW household. The Family Assistant will provide hands-on support across daily routines, light housekeeping, laundry, child-related assistance, and general household needs, while also assisting with simple, health-conscious meal preparation as directed. Flexible to do whatever may be needed, and to understand how to make work during down-time.
The Family Assistant plays an integral role in maintaining a calm, orderly, and well-functioning home environment. Success in this role requires mature judgment, situational awareness, and the ability to anticipate needs, while also respecting boundaries and following direction. This individual should be comfortable working collaboratively with parents and other household staff, contributing thoughtfully without overstepping
Responsibilities
Household Support and Daily Operations
- Provide daily household support including light housekeeping, tidying, and organization
- Assist with laundry, including washing, folding, linen and terry changes, and light ironing
- Support seasonal organization projects and maintain orderly storage systems
- Help ensure the household remains calm, organized, and aligned with UHNW standards
- Independently identify tasks and projects that contribute to the smooth running of the home
Child Support
- Assist with the child as needed, in coordination with the parents and nanny
- Support mealtimes, routines, and age-appropriate activities as directed
- Follow parental guidance closely, particularly around food, routines, and boundaries
- Provide a steady, respectful presence within the household environment
Kitchen and Meal Support
- Assist with preparation of simple, healthy meals and snacks as directed
- Support grocery shopping, kitchen organization, and food inventory
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and food storage areas
- Monitor pantry and refrigerator contents; discard expired items and flag restocking needs
- Uphold proper hygiene and food safety standards
Travel and Professional Conduct
- Travel with the family domestically and internationally for extended periods
- Be based in Miami with international travel throughout the year
- Maintain discretion, professionalism, and strong situational awareness at all times
- Communicate clearly and respectfully, adapting to feedback in a collaborative manner
- Demonstrate emotional maturity, flexibility, and sound judgment in dynamic environments
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a private household (references required)
- Experience supporting families with children
- Comfortable providing hands-on household support and light housekeeping
- Ability to assist with simple, health-conscious meal preparation as directed
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally for extended periods
- Valid passport required
- Fluent in English; additional languages a plus (French, Spanish, Hebrew)
- Calm, respectful, and emotionally mature demeanor
- Able to follow instructions, respect boundaries, and accept constructive feedback
- Trustworthy, discreet, and adaptable
- Non-smoker; must pass background check
Location: Miami, Florida (home base) with international travel required
Schedule: Full-Time. Must work Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, two days off per week (to be discussed)
Salary: $45-65/hour DOE
