Our returning clients in Presidio Heights are seeking a detail-oriented Family Assistant. The primary responsibilities will be household tasks oriented with ability to help with backup childcare if needed.
Laundry duties, including hand washing, delicate care, ironing, and coordination with dry cleaning services
Maintain and replenishing essential items such as dehumidifiers, fire alarm batteries, dishwasher salt, hand soaps, and other household supplies
Coordinate and oversee vendor appointments for events, household services, and routine maintenance
Maintaining and troubleshooting household technology, including iPads and Apple Home devices
Event & Guest Management: Coordinate room setups and oversee guest accommodations for special events and family gatherings
Requires occasional work on a weekend for birthday party
Wardrobe & Personal Care: Manage the care, organization, inventory, and maintenance of wardrobes, accessories, and personal belongings as needed
Travel Preparation: Oversee packing and unpacking for family trips, ensuring all items are properly prepared and in excellent condition
Assist with booking appointments and researching age-appropriate activities for the children
Handle errands as needed, including grocery shopping, mail collection, and managing returns
Curate and wrap thoughtful gifts for holidays, birthdays, and special occasions and send out
Assist with putting up and removing holiday decor
Plan and organize family vacations and special events.
Assemble small furniture items (stroller, children’s gear)
Assist with driving family and/or dogs to appointments
Dog Care:
Provide care for two medium-size dogs with confidence as needed, including feeding, taking them outside, going on short walks, or transporting them to the dog sitter in Marin.
