Family Syllabus: This down-to-earth and friendly family in Montecito is looking for an exceptional rotational nanny to help care for their bright, energetic, and inquisitive daughters. Their daughters are 1.5, 4, and 6 years old. The family has two small dogs, so please be comfortable with canine companions. They are a warm and engaged family who truly appreciate the caregivers who help their household run smoothly. The family has private chefs who are responsible for cooking for the family as well as a household manager and family assistant. The family flies private and commercial a few times per year on international trips. The family has a guest suite on the property for the nanny to live in during rotations. 

Ideal Candidate: The family’s dream nanny brings a deep understanding of childhood developmental milestones. As an active and adventurous mentor for three young girls, you will serve as a seamless extension of the parents, utilizing gentle parenting techniques to encourage good manners, independence, and age-appropriate responsibility. The family is looking for a kind, well-informed professional who excels at communication, both with the parents and through weekly check-ins with our other household staff, to ensure a supportive and cohesive environment.

In this role, you will be the architect of a consistent daily routine, managing everything from nutritious meal preparation, including school lunches and toddler-specific dining, to coordinated school transitions and nap schedules. You will provide loving, attentive care by planning engaging, educational activities such as reading, arts and crafts, and outdoor play. Beyond the home, you will supervise playdates and outings, ensuring the girls stay active and socially engaged. A high level of organizational “ownership” is essential. You will be responsible for the management of children’s supplies, keeping everything from diaper bags to vehicles stocked and orderly. Also, rotating clothing and shoe sizes between the three girls and maintaining their laundry. Please be prepared to handle doctor appointments, provide basic first aid, and assist with hygiene routines like baths and nail trimming.

Job Synopsis: Job duties will include maintaining a consistent routine involving nutritious meal prep, school transitions, and the planning of engaging, educational activities. Your role extends to full-scale organizational management, including monitoring health needs, overseeing wardrobe rotations, and ensuring all children’s supplies and spaces remain meticulously stocked and tidy. You will act as a vital member of the household team, communicating effectively with staff and providing gentle, attentive care that fosters independence and good manners. This position will require both domestic and international travel. Please ensure that the girls’ routines remain stable and supportive, no matter where the family is in the world. The schedule for this position is rotational for 2 weeks on and off at a time, working 6:30 am – 7/8 pm. The pay for this role is $48-50/hr, plus vacation pay, sick pay, and a benefits package (medical, dental, and vision). Traveling will be required domestically and internationally, so be ready to adventure with this amazing team! Overnights are expected, and you must be a safe and reliable driver. They will be providing a nanny vehicle. This family is looking for local candidates within a 2-hour driving distance. They are not open to a candidate flying in and out for their rotation.

Vaccination Requirements: This family is requesting a nanny who has all standard immunizations.

Qualifications:

Five years of professional nanny experience

At least one year of prior 12-24/hr ROTA experience

Travel Nanny experience

TSA PreCheck

CPR/first aid certification
