Warm, Loving, Experienced Newborn Nanny Needed FT in Cow Hollow (mid-April start)

A warm, loving family in Cow Hollow is seeking a dedicated, experienced nanny to care for their newborn baby girl (currently 6 weeks old). They also have a 3 year old boy who has care, but will need help in the mornings getting ready and off to school. Responsibilities include caring for their newborn, preparing toddler’s breakfast and driving him to school, working on developmental milestones with baby including planning fun activities and engaging in reading and singing, children’s laundry, light tidying, preparing bottles and cooking meals for the kids.

Travel is required for this position. At minimum they need their nanny to travel with them on domestic trips which can be a week to several weeks (typically NY, LA, Hawaii). They’d love if someone could also travel internationally (a few weeks in the summer in Europe).

Ultimately they are looking for their own Mary Poppins – someone who will match their warmth and love, who enjoys being a nanny and is passionate about childcare. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking longevity with a kind, easygoing, and fun family!

Experience Requirements

• 2 years minimum experience working as a nanny with excellent verifiable references

Educational Requirements

• Fluency in English
• Fluency in Spanish preferred

Qualifications

• COVID-vaccinated + boosted within past 1-2 years (or ideally current/willing to update)
• TB and Tdap vaccine
• CPR Certified
• Valid driver with clean record (family can provide a household vehicle or reimburse for mileage; parking available on site)
• Must be flexible and willing to travel domestic and ideally international
• Pitch-in and self-starter

Responsibilities

• Focus is on newborn care
• Get toddler ready and to preschool from 7a-8a then focusing on baby for rest of the day
• Planning engaging activities
• Working on developmental milestones
• Children’s laundry
• Light tidying
• Preparing, washing, sanitizing bottles
• Preparing kids’ meals / snacks
• Organizing kids items, toys, etc.
• Assisting with developmental transitions (sleep schedule, solids, etc.)
