Full Time Newborn Care Specialist

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Newborn Care Specialist to provide overnight support for a growing family. This role consists of 12-hour overnight shifts, four nights per week, with a focus on establishing healthy sleep routines and supporting both the newborn and parents during the early postpartum period. The family would like the Newborn Care Specialist to begin a couple of weeks prior to the baby’s arrival to assist with nursery setup, organization, and preparation, helping ensure a smooth and confident transition once the baby is home. Once the baby arrives, responsibilities will center on attentive overnight care, allowing the parents to rest knowing their child is in expert hands.

Required Skills:
The ideal candidate will have extensive newborn care experience, including overnight care, feeding support, soothing techniques, and safe sleep practices. Responsibilities include baby-related tasks such as washing and sterilizing bottles, newborn laundry, maintaining the nursery, and ensuring all baby supplies are clean, organized, and well-stocked. The Newborn Care Specialist must be calm, reliable, and professional, with excellent communication skills and a supportive, reassuring presence. Infant CPR and first aid certification are required. Candidates should be proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently overnight while maintaining a nurturing and safety-focused environment.

Required Certifications:
5+ Years of Experience, CPR & First Aid, Trustline, Perfect DMV, TDap Vaccination

Hourly/Salary:
55.-65.
