Savvy Family Assistant Needed PT for Multi-Generational Household in Fremont

A busy multi-generational family in Fremont is seeking a proactive Family Assistant for their household with four adults and two children (ages 8 and 12 years old). Responsibilities include running errands, household organization, light tidying, family laundry, preparing snacks for the children or light meal prep, as well as scheduling appointments, researching and travel planning.

The best person for them is someone who is very organized and a confident decision-maker. Their ideal person is tech savvy, patient and kind, and comfortable working in a home with grandparents.

Experience Requirements

• 2 years minimum experience working as a Family Assistant with excellent verifiable references

Educational Requirements

• Fluency in English

Responsibilities

• Driving children to/from school and activities
• Running errands: grocery shopping, package returns, dry cleaning, car servicing/cleaning, school supplies, misc., etc.
• Organizing: kids’ rooms, sorting through toys, donations
• Handling mail: shredding, sorting
• Light meal prep / preparing snacks for the children
• Light tidying
• Family laundry
• Travel planning / researching for grandparents and/or the family
• Scheduling appointments for the children (doctors, etc.)
