Schedule:
- Two consistent weekdays, Monday–Friday, from 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Specific weekdays are flexible initially but must remain consistent once agreed upon
- Optional: Up to 5 additional weekend hours per week if desired
 
Compensation:
- $30 - $35/hour
 
Benefits:
- 4 paid days off annually, prorated for part-time schedule
- Paid federal holidays that coincide with scheduled workdays
- Guaranteed 20 hours per week, with the option to work up to 5 additional weekend hours, bringing total guaranteed hours to 25 per week if desired

This role is ideal for a nanny who finds joy in intentional care, age-appropriate learning, and creating a calm, enriching environment for a young toddler. The position is expected to conclude at the end of 2026, as the family anticipates transitioning their child to a daycare program at that time.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Childcare:
- Provide nurturing, attentive care for a 1-year-old
- Follow established daily schedule for naps and meals
- Diapering, feeding, and supporting developmental milestones
- Plan and lead age-appropriate, screen-free activities
- Maintain clear communication with parents regarding daily updates
 
Household Support (Child-Related Only):
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all child-related areas throughout the shift
- Manage cleanup of meals and related items used during working hours
- Ensure toys, supplies, and play spaces are reset at the end of the day
- Support light, child-focused household tasks to promote a tidy and well-maintained environment
 
Ideal Candidate:
- Demonstrated experience caring for toddlers (12–18 months), with a strong understanding of age-appropriate developmental milestones
- Energetic, hands-on caregiver who actively engages children in meaningful, developmentally appropriate play and learning
- Highly organized and confident in implementing and maintaining a consistent daily routine
- Adaptable and attentive, with the ability to respond thoughtfully to both verbal and non-verbal cues
- Calm, emotionally intelligent presence who uses positive guidance to support early social and emotional development
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate closely and professionally with parents
- Warm, patient, and genuinely invested in fostering healthy growth and development
- Flexible within structure—able to maintain established routines while adjusting appropriately to the child’s evolving needs
- Comfortable working in a screen-free environment and engaging a toddler in active, hands-on indoor and outdoor activities (no driving required)
 
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of professional childcare experience, including infants and toddlers
- Proven experience in private nanny positions, daycare, or babysitting roles
- High school diploma required; college preferred
- CPR & First Aid certified (or willing to obtain upon hire)
- Minimum age: 21 years
- Fully vaccinated
- Fluent in English
- Non-smoker
- Able to provide professional references from all employers over the past 3–5 years
- Willing to undergo background and reference checks
- Legal U.S. citizen or valid visa documentation
