FULL TIME LIVE IN NANNY/FAMILY ASSISTANT

Summary:
A family on the Upper East Side of New York is seeking a polished, emotionally intelligent live-in household professional to support the overall organization and daily functioning of the home during a period of transition. This role requires a sophisticated, thoughtful individual who can provide steady presence, structure, and support while managing household coordination, schedules, and day-to-day logistics. The position is based primarily in New York City, with required summer travel to the family’s residence in the Hamptons. 

Required Skills:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate high emotional intelligence, discretion, and professionalism, with the ability to navigate sensitive family dynamics calmly and thoughtfully. Responsibilities include household organization, schedule coordination, meal preparation, light grocery shopping, and serving as a liaison with schools or outside professionals as needed. While daily cleaning is handled by a separate service, the candidate should be comfortable maintaining general order and supporting household routines. Driving ability is preferred, particularly for time spent in the Hamptons. The candidate should be adaptable, engaging, intellectually curious, and comfortable with travel and a live-in arrangement. An educational background in education is a plus.
