• Location: Lake Oswego, Portland, Oregon, with frequent travel
• Ages of children: 3 years old
• Start date: As soon as they find the right fit!
• Schedule: Full-time, rotational schedule of 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off. Candidates can expect to provide 24-hour coverage while on duty. Flexibility for travel and overnights during the rotation will be key!
• Compensation: The family is offering an hourly and overtime rate equivalent to an annualized base compensation of $115-125k+/year, dependent on candidate experience. The family may be open to candidates seeking a higher compensation package commensurate with experience.
• Benefits: The family is open to providing paid time off, paid holidays, a health insurance stipend, a vehicle for professional use, and relocation assistance for the right candidate.
• Live-in/Live-out: Live-in while on duty and live-out while off shift. A private bedroom and bathroom will be provided.
• Other Notes: The family is open to candidates who would fly in/fly out at this time, provided they may be willing to relocate to the Portland area if it is an excellent long-term fit.

Household Dynamic:

• This loving, compassionate Oregon family is seeking a professional and resourceful rotational nanny to join them in caring for their only child! The family has a charming 3-year-old son who enjoys music, animals, being active, and loves everything water-related. The role will focus on caring for him and ensuring an engaging and loving environment through planning enriching and developmental activities. He is in preschool  3 half days a week, so someone who is calm and confident in supporting him as he learns how to communicate his emotions will be highly valued.
• This single mom travels frequently throughout the year and loves bringing her son along for the ride. They are excited to work with someone adaptable and share an excitement for family adventures, both planned and spontaneous! Someone confident and collaborative, working alongside a hands-on mom and other household staff.

Ideal candidate:

• This position is ideal for someone interactive and confident, providing attentive and nurturing care to a lively 3-year-old! A candidate who can regulate their emotions and maintain composure is key to success in this role. Someone who can take the lead in organizing and facilitating engaging and enriching activities, whether playing in the pool or taking an enjoyable walk in the park, will be a wonderful addition! The family would love to work with someone who is level-headed and not easily frazzled, who can step in and out as needed. They value someone who can maintain open and respectful communication within the family and with other household members.
• This is a child-focused role. Responsibilities include creating an environment for the child to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks, including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing children’s areas, children's laundry, rotating clothes and toys, unpacking child-related deliveries, occasional errands, before and after school routines, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of professional childcare experience
• Valid passport
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience traveling with families and children
• Experience working in a team environment
• Ability to swim and care for children around water
• Ability to live-in while on duty and live-out while off duty
• Partners, family members, and/or pets cannot be housed in any temporary or long-term accommodations provided by the family
