EXPERIENCED INFANT CO-NANNY NEEDED FOR FAMILY IN BETHESDA, MD

Location: Bethesda, MD, 20817

Children: 3.5-month-old

Compensation: $35-$37/hr

Schedule: 8-week contract, 41 guaranteed hrs/week. Mon & Fri, 8 am to 1:30 pm & Tue to Thur, 8 am to 6 pm. Flexibility is essential in this role.

Benefits: paid major holidays and mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate for on-the-job travel.

A nurturing and structured family is looking for an engaging co-nanny to join them for an 8-week contract and support them in caring for their 3.5-month-old baby daughter.

Their sweet 3.5-month-old daughter is beginning to roll over and is formula-fed by bottle every three hours. She has a structured yet flexible routine, with cues that guide her day. She has an older 2-year-old sister, who will primarily be cared for by the lead nanny.

Their home is structured, organized, and calm, and they’re looking for a candidate who shares these values. Both parents work from home, with Dad traveling frequently. Having moved here two years ago, they truly rely on their nanny as part of their village and hope to find someone who can become a trusted part of their household. In their free time, they enjoy spending time outdoors with their little girls, visiting parks, the zoo, various museums, and exploring different places around DC.

Daily Rhythm: 

You will provide attentive, nurturing care for their infant daughter, supporting their routines and development. You will prepare bottles/meals, clean up after meals, change diapers, provide sick care if needed, and plan fun,  educational, age-appropriate activities. Additional duties will include tidying up the child’s common areas and stroller/diaper bag, children’s laundry, restocking baby supplies, emptying the diaper pail, loading and unloading the bottle washer, and texting photos throughout the day.

Qualifications: 

• 5 years of professional childcare experience
• Recent & extensive experience working with infants
• Collaborative and able  to work with a lead nanny
• Valid Driver’s License
• Reliable and insured vehicle
• Clean driving record & ability to pass a background check
• Pet-friendly. The family has a  23lb Cockapoo

This position is paid legally, on a W-2, subject to regular deductions and withholdings as required by law.
