Friendly, Engaging PT Nanny Needed in Cupertino

A family in Cupertino is seeking a friendly, experienced nanny to help with childcare. Care will be primarily for their newborn twins (due early May) and 9-month-old daughter who is in daycare from 9:30 until 3-5p most days. They also have two older children (ages 5 and 8 years old) who are mostly independent but who do need some support and help staying on top of their chores. Duties include helping with infant care, morning/evening routines, riding with parents for drop-offs/pickups, preparing bottles for the infants and meal prep for the children, bath and bedtime support, and tidying kids’ rooms and play/common areas. Their kids are easygoing, love being around people and are eager to help.

The best person for them is someone calm and engaging who genuinely loves working with kids. Someone experienced with newborns to school-age children is ideal.

Schedule Option 1 (25 hours/week):
Mon: 6-11am
Tues: 6-11am
Wed: 3-8pm
Thu: 1:30-6:30pm
Fri: 1:30-6:30pm

Schedule Option 2 (30 hours/week):
Mon: 1:00pm-7:00pm
Tues: 1:00pm-7:00pm
Wed: 2:00pm-8:00pm
Thu: 1:00pm-7:00pm
Fri: 1:00pm-7:00pm

Experience Requirements

  • 2 years minimum experience working as a private nanny with excellent verifiable references

Educational Requirements

  • Fluency in English

Qualifications

  • COVID-vaccinated + current on the booster or willing to update
  • Current on TB, Tdap and flu
  • CPR Certified
  • Valid driver with clean record
  • Upbeat
  • Genuinely enjoys interacting with kids
  • Experience with newborns to school-age children
  • Excellent communication
  • Can make at least a year commitment

Responsibilities

  • Helping w/ newborn and infant care
