This first-time family is welcoming, thoughtful, and deeply invested in creating a nurturing and developmentally supportive environment for their baby. Their son is currently 11 weeks old (a Halloween baby!) and is active, alert, and doing well with nighttime sleep. Both parents work full-time and are looking for a trusted caregiver who can grow with their family and help establish healthy daytime routines as their child continues to develop.
They value respectful communication, intentional caregiving, and treating their child as an individual from the very beginning. They are excited to partner with a nanny who feels confident caring for infants and supporting early developmental milestones.
The anticipated schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with some flexibility if needed. The family plans to interview throughout February, with an ideal start date in early to mid-March. Both parents may be working from home at times, but the nanny will have full responsibility for childcare during working hours.
This role is primarily focused on infant care, including:
Providing attentive, loving care for an infant
Supporting age-appropriate developmental milestones
Establishing and maintaining gentle daytime routines
Engaging in screen-free, interactive play
Daily neighborhood walks and outings (no driving required)
Infant-related laundry and light tidying related to the baby
Bonus (but not required):
Occasional family meal prep or light household support
Childcare is the priority for this loving family.
The ideal candidate is:
Experienced with infants in a private home setting
Confident, calm, and developmentally knowledgeable
Warm, communicative, and reliable
Comfortable helping establish routines
Screen-free and highly engaging
English is NOT required for this position, but candidates with strong Korean or Mandarin skills are required.
Minimum 2 years of in-home experience
Infant experience required
Infant CPR & First Aid certified
Fully vaccinated (including flu)
Able to legally work in the USA
Fluent in either Chinese or Korean
Guaranteed 40 hours/week for the right candidate
Paid Time Off: 2 weeks
Paid sick leave: 1 hour per 40 hours worked (up to 6 days/year)
Paid holidays (major holidays; negotiable)
Health insurance stipend: $200–$300/month (negotiable; may cover full premium for the right fit)
Mileage reimbursement if applicable ($0.72/mile)
