ROTA Schedule: 7 days on and 7 days off schedule.

A warm, organized family is seeking a professional, proactive Family Manager/Nanny to support their busy household and three wonderful children. This is a long-term opportunity for a career nanny or household professional who enjoys working with school-aged children, thrives in a structured environment, and is confident managing both childcare and household coordination.

Schedule

This position follows a ROTA-style schedule:

7 days on / 7 days off

Typical working schedule during the on-week:

Monday – Thursday
• No overnight care required
• Household management needed during the day and assistance with after school pickups and evening routine required. Children go to bed around 8:00 PM and nanny is free to go home at this time.

Friday – Sunday
• Weekend coverage with overnight care is required

Sunday evenings include helping prepare the household for the week ahead, including children’s laundry and restocking household supplies.

 

Responsibilities

This role blends childcare and family management, making it ideal for someone who enjoys taking initiative and keeping a household running smoothly.

Responsibilities include:

• School pickups and driving children to activities
• Managing after-school routines and schedules
• Homework support, particularly math tutoring for the daughter
• Encouraging outdoor play and active engagement with the boys
• Preparing light dinners for the children when parents are out
• Supporting evening routines including showers, reading, and bedtime preparation
• Children’s laundry and wardrobe organization
• Household organization 
• Keeping track of children's supplies and restocking as needed
• Running occasional errands 
• Helping maintain a calm, organized household environment

Requirements

Ideal candidates will have:

• A minimum of 2 years of professional nanny/family management experience with school-aged children
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and professionalism
• A valid driver’s license and strong driving record

• Ability to travel with the family

• A clean background check
• General Vaccinations such as TDAP and MMR
• Comfort working in a structured household environment
• Willingness to sign an NDA

• Fluent in English

• Able to legally work in the USA

• Comfortable with payment via Payroll

• Experience with tutoring or supporting school-aged children academically is a strong plus
