Inside Their World: A welcoming and open-minded family is looking for an experienced and emotionally intelligent nanny to support them in caring for their newborn twin daughters, arriving in early May.
Family Environment:
These first-time parents prioritize a household built on warmth, thoughtful engagement, and consistency. Mom and Dad follow a gentle, progressive approach to parenting and hope to partner with a nanny who shares these values. They aim to create a safe environment where emotions are acknowledged with compassion, curiosity is encouraged, and problem-solving is supported through patience and guidance. Dad works from home once a week, while Mom works outside of the home. The ideal nanny should be confident and well versed in caring for the children independently. The family enjoys outdoor activities like going hiking, taking walks, and practicing archery, balanced with quieter moments at home with their dog and cat. Evenings often include watching tv and movies, reading, or playing board games. They are open-minded and welcoming, and value kindness, respect, and a calm, intentional presence in their home.
Who Thrives Here:
This family’s ideal match is a highly experienced and emotionally intelligent nanny who provides thoughtful and compassionate care and understands the importance of responding promptly to the babies’ needs. The nanny must be intuitive and proactive, have a learning mindset, and show genuine interest in building respectful, meaningful relationships. Highly responsible and reliable, they should exercise sound judgment, communicate effectively, and align with the family’s values. This individual creates a nurturing and positive environment that fosters autonomy and supports the children’s development. They must bring a polished sense of professionalism, strong organizational skills, and an adaptable presence that integrates seamlessly into the household.
Daily Rhythm: In this role, the nanny will provide attentive and nurturing care to the newborn twins, supporting their needs, helping create and maintain a healthy family routine, all while contributing to a calm and organized home. Responsibilities include washing and sterilizing bottles and breast pump parts, and safely handling, preparing, and storing breast milk, providing sick care if needed, emptying the diaper pail, restocking the diaper bag, and helping establish healthy routines for sleep and feeding. The nanny will help maintain children’s common areas by keeping play spaces and bedrooms tidy, laundering their clothing and linens, preparing meals as babies’ feeding needs evolve, as well as handling cleanup afterwards, and loading/emptying the dishwasher. In addition, they will actively engage with the children, supporting verbal development through interaction and reading, and planning fun, educational, and age-appropriate activities, including scheduling suitable outings as the babies grow. The family would also appreciate photo updates throughout the day.
