Loving, Active Nanny Needed FT in Pac Heights

A family in Pac Heights is seeking a loving, responsible nanny to care for their children. Their kids are 6 months (boy), 2 years (girl) and 5 years (boy) old. Their baby is in daycare full-time and their daughter is in school part-time so care is primarily for their daughter and 5 year old son. Responsibilities include planning age-appropriate activities and outings, engaging in play, child laundry, light tidying, and preparing kid-friendly meals. The best person for them is energetic and can easily keep up with active kids, comfortable holding boundaries, and a great role model.

Experience Requirements

• 2 years minimum experience working as a private nanny with excellent verifiable references

Educational Requirements

• Fluency in English
• Fluency in German or Chinese (nice to have)

Qualifications

• TB and Tdap vaccine
• CPR Certified
• Valid driver with clean record (family provides a household vehicle for work-related driving)
• Active and energetic
• Loving; goes above and beyond caring for the kids
• Can hold boundaries with children; firm but gentle
• Excellent communication
• Can make at least a year commitment

Responsibilities

• Care mostly for 2 and 5 year old (and baby occasionally)
• Planning activities and outings
• Some food prep / preparing children’s meals
• Light tidying (children’s bedrooms and play areas); loading/unloading dishwasher
• Child laundry
