Proactive, Playful Nanny Needed for Infant in Burlingame

A family in Burlingame is seeking a proactive, organized nanny to primarily care for their 6-month-old baby and light care for their 4-year-old. Responsibilities include helping with the morning routine, planning engaging activities and outings for baby, engaging in developmentally appropriate play, light tidying, laundry, and preparing meals for the kids (and sometimes simple meals or meal prep for the family).

The best person for them is a great communicator who is experienced with infants to elementary-age children. Someone who is a self-starter, playful, fun and dependable will be the best fit!

Experience Requirements

• 2 years minimum experience working as a private nanny with excellent verifiable references

Educational Requirements

• Fluency in English

Qualifications

• COVID-vaccinated + current on booster or willing to update
• TB and Tdap vaccine
• CPR Certified
• Valid driver with clean record preferably with a reliable vehicle for some work-related driving (family will reimburse for mileage)
• Experienced with infants to elementary age
• Organized
• Proactive, problem-solver
• Excellent communicator
• Can make at least a year commitment, ideally longer

Responsibilities

• Primarily care for baby
• Help with kids’ morning routines
• Light driving; help with drop-off / pick-up from school or taking baby to activities
• Planning age-appropriate actvities / outings for baby
• Engaging in play
• Light cooking for the kids and sometimes for the family
• Child laundry + folding parent laundry
• General tidying
