Fun-Loving New Parents Looking for a Part-Time nanny in Walnut Creek! These outgoing, collaborative parents are looking to team up with a long-term part-time nanny to provide engaging care for their son starting when he is 6 months old. This family is seeking a professional nanny who truly loves working with infants and has a consistent and gentle caregiving style. Learning through play, helping the baby explore his world, and supporting the interests he develops would be ideal. Excellent communication and frequent updates throughout the day would be appreciated, as these parents will be leaving their baby in a nanny’s care for the first time.

The baby is curious and active, already has a great sleep schedule, and actively seeks out engagement! They would love a nanny who is comfortable taking him on walks to the park and other local, walkable activities. Someone who takes initiative in creating activities that support developmental milestones would be a great fit.

Outside of childcare, the family is looking for support with baby related light housekeeping, such as the child’s laundry and organizing. This includes setting aside clothing that no longer fits, packing and restocking the diaper bag and changing stations, changing sheets, and keeping the baby’s items tidy.

Currently, they live in Walnut Creek in a two bedroom apartment that is set up with baby play stations and a cozy nursery. They are house hunting and may move within the next few months, but plan to stay in Walnut Creek or within about 5 to 10 miles of the area. 

The family also has a friendly 20 pound mixed breed dog. They handle walks before leaving and when they return home. Very minimal care is expected, just refilling the water bowl if needed and occasionally letting the dog out to potty.
