A warm and thoughtful family in San Francisco is seeking a full-time nanny to care for their daughter, who will be 7 months old at the start of the role in June 2026. This is a meaningful, long-term opportunity for a nurturing and attentive caregiver who genuinely enjoys working with infants and is excited to grow alongside a young family. 

Mom and dad are calm and reserved, but also warm and friendly. Both parents work full-time hybrid roles with dad working from home most days and mom working from home intermittently. They have dedicated office spaces and are committed to supporting a positive work environment for everyone. Their daughter is a happy, curious, and observant baby who loves taking in the world around her, especially during outdoor walks. She thrives with responsive, engaged care. The family is committed to a screen-free environment and hopes to fill her days with reading, play focused learning, time outdoors, and age-appropriate activities. Candidates with a strong understanding of early development and milestones would be a great fit. The ideal nanny is warm, calm, and emotionally attuned, with strong infant experience and a confident understanding of infant safety, including current safe sleep practices. The family is looking for a reliable, steady, reassuring presence in the home. They also need support with light housekeeping related to the baby, including washing bottles and laundry for the baby, and keeping the baby’s items tidy and organized. This is a true nanny role, with a primary focus on the child. While it’s not a requirement, the parents would love someone with flexibility for occasional schedule adjustments as well as a potential date night from time to time.

This family is located in Inner Richmond, a walkable, family-friendly neighborhood just a short jaunt from Golden Gate Park, with easy access to green space, museums, and neighborhood amenities. There is a walk-up entrance opening into a cozy, well laid-out, one-level flat. The living room has an abundance of natural light and plenty of space for tummy time and other activities. There are two bedrooms, one and a half bathrooms, as well as a bright and organized kitchen with a large dining room perfect for setting up sensory play activities.
