About the Family
This lively and adventure-loving family has three wonderful children, ages 10, 4, and 6 months, who bring energy, curiosity, and joy to their home. Their days are filled with outdoor play, exploration, and meaningful connection. The household also includes a sweet and friendly chocolate Labrador who is very much part of the family. With a love for travel and new experiences, the family is excited to welcome a nanny who may have the opportunity to join them on their adventures.
Schedule
The general schedule is Monday through Friday between 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Flexibility is important, as the parent’s schedule may occasionally shift or require travel. Guaranteed hours are provided at 40 per week. The ideal start date is as soon as possible, and the family is hoping for a long term commitment of three to five years.
Live In Option
A live in arrangement is available for candidates seeking additional flexibility. The nanny will have a private bedroom and bathroom, and a vehicle may be provided for work related duties.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include providing attentive and nurturing care for all three children, including the infant. The nanny will plan engaging outdoor activities and active play, assist with school drop offs and pick ups, and help with homework for the older child. Strong cooking skills are essential, as the nanny will prepare healthy, child focused meals. Additional duties include managing the children’s laundry, maintaining tidy play and living areas, reinforcing family values such as respect and manners, and letting their dog outside.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of professional nanny experience and be a confident swimmer with a strong commitment to water safety. The family is seeking someone who is active, energetic, and highly engaging, as well as proactive and comfortable taking the lead in the household. Candidates should be comfortable with flexible scheduling and occasional travel. The nanny should be proactive, reliable, and aligned with the family’s values. Comfort in a home with securely stored firearms and a hunting lifestyle is important.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of professional nanny experience
- Infant experience
- CPR & First Aid (or willing to obtain)
- Candidates must have TDAP and MMR vaccinations
- Clean background check and motor vehicle report
- Must be comfortable completing a drug screening
- Must be comfortable signing a non disclosure agreement
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Fluent in English
- Comfortable with dogs
Compensation and Benefits
- Guaranteed hours (40)
- Approximately 11 to 18 days of paid time off
- Five paid sick days
- Paid major holidays
- Mileage reimbursement is provided at $0.725 per mile
- Full health insurance may be offered after 8 to 12 months of employment
- For live in candidates, a private bedroom and bathroom are provided
