Inside Their World:

An intentional, warm family is on the lookout for a calm and reliable nanny to support them in caring for their 3-month-old son.

Their 3-year-old baby boy is a very sweet, easygoing baby. He loves interacting with others, smiling, and baby chatting back and forth. Growing and developing accordingly, he recognizes faces and stays active during the day. Since he was born a bit underweight, Mom and Dad would appreciate the nanny paying special attention to his weight and growth progress.

Family Environment:

They are intentional parents who are still learning and refining their approach, with a shared focus on ensuring their son feels loved, supporting their son’s emotional security, and healthy development. They stay closely attuned to his cues and respond thoughtfully to his needs while also encouraging age-appropriate independence and self-soothing. Their approach blends responsiveness with gentle structure, creating space for exploration through age-appropriate experiences like daily walks and calm exposure to the world around him.

They follow pediatric guidance, including recommended vaccine schedules, tummy time, and developmental milestones, and aim to make decisions grounded in evidence and observation rather than assumption. Overall, they create a calm, consistent environment that supports both emotional regulation and early autonomy. They work from home and will be in and out of the home throughout the day.

Who Thrives Here:

They’re seeking a dedicated, developmentally informed caregiver for their son who can bring steadiness, warmth, and structure into the home. The ideal candidate is confident, highly attentive to infant cues, and knowledgeable about early milestones, with the ability to track development thoughtfully and adjust care as the baby grows. A foundation in child development and an evidence-informed approach to caregiving are essential.

They value someone who is nurturing and emotionally attuned, organized, and able to approach day-to-day decisions with a calm, logical mindset. A solution oriented mindset and strong, open and honest communication are essential.

Reliability, professionalism, and a genuine passion for childcare are essential. They’re looking for someone who is responsive and truly present and engaged with their baby throughout the day. They are seeking a devoted nanny to build a loving, secure bond with their son so he feels deeply loved, seen, and cared for in everyday moments.

Daily Rhythm:

In this role, the nanny will plan fun, educational, age appropriate activities and outings,  safely drive the baby to and from activities and appointments, handle doctor’s visits, provide sick care if needed, tidy up the baby’s common areas, prepare bottles and simple meals/snacks for him, clean up afterward, and wash/sterilize bottles and/or breast pump parts. Additional responsibilities include general tidying/organizing (not housekeeping), safely handling, preparing, and storing breastmilk, restocking the diaper stations and bag, emptying the diaper pail, loading the dishwasher and emptying it when full, as well as texting photos throughout the day.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of professional childcare experience
  • A strong educational background or a naturally curious, thoughtful approach is a plus
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Reliable and insured vehicle
  • Clean driving record & ability to pass a background check
  • CPR & First Aid certified
  • Current on standard vaccinations (TDaP and MMR required)
