Regular Tasks for This Role (includes but are not limited to):
Providing excellent care for a newborn infant and a 2-year-old toddler (primary focus)
Supporting infant feeding routines (breast milk) and helping transition to solids as baby grows
Planning age-appropriate play, development, and enrichment activities for the toddler (crafts, learning activities, outings, etc.)
Helping with school drop-off and pick-up for older children as needed (drive time approx. 25–30 minutes)
Assisting with transportation/logistics for extracurriculars as needed (cheer, gymnastics, sports, etc.)
Providing coverage at home with baby/toddler so parent can attend activities with older children
Preparing simple meals and snacks for children (ex: toddler lunch, after-school snacks)
Tidying and organizing kids’ spaces and cleaning up after child-related activities/meals
Keeping kids’ items stocked and organized (diapers, wipes, bottles, snacks, etc.)
Running miscellaneous errands for the family as needed (ex: grocery store, post office)
Occasional evening/weekend babysitting for date nights (rare, as-needed)
Skills/Experience/Education
Minimum 2+ years of professional childcare experience (private home, daycare, preschool, nursery, or infant/toddler-focused roles strongly preferred)
Spanish speaking is a bonus!
Strong infant and toddler competency, including developmental milestones and routines
Montessori background or early childhood education exposure is a bonus (not required)
Current CPR & First Aid certifications
Clean driving record and comfort driving children
Strong critical thinking skills and ability to stay calm under pressure
Innate ability to “read the room” and anticipate needs
Genuinely enjoys being of service and supporting a family’s daily flow
Strong communication skills and high emotional intelligence

Monday–Friday

35–40 hours

(open to higher for exceptional experience)
