Inside Their World:

Welcoming, close-knit parents are seeking an engaging and infant savvy nanny to join them in their new home and support grandparents in caring for their 6-month-old baby daughter.

Their 6-month-old daughter is a sweet, bright, and highly active baby who is already eager to explore the world around her. Her little legs are always in motion, and she is expected to begin crawling soon. She is consistently in a happy, engaging mood, often smiling and eager to interact, and has even begun practicing early sounds. She is still developing her sleep rhythms and can experience some challenges with both nighttime sleep and naps. A patient, experienced caregiver who is confident in supporting healthy sleep habits will be an asset to the family. She is currently breastfed and has recently been diagnosed with a cow’s milk protein allergy, so the family will appreciate a caregiver who is attentive, informed, and comfortable supporting her dietary needs.

Family Environment:

Mom and Dad, two hardworking parents, prioritize a household built on close family bonds, attentive care, and intentional presence. They aim to foster a home that feels warm, positive, and overall happy, so their right match will show up every day with a gentle, positive attitude as well. While these loving parents have demanding jobs, they also have room for flexibility and usually alternate working-from-home days to ensure one of them can spend time with their daughter during breaks. As a family, they value meaningful time together and enjoy reading, traveling, and immersing themselves in new cultures. They frequently visit their loved ones in Scotland and Fort Myers, Florida, and are looking forward to an exciting trip to the Bahamas with their daughter.

Who Thrives Here:

The perfect nanny for the role is engaging, social, and emotionally mature. Someone who creates a stimulating, warm, and nurturing environment for the baby and has a sharp intuition to step in and out as needed, especially when the family wants to spend uninterrupted time with her. Highly respectful of the family’s boundaries and space, this individual is independent, organized, and tidy. While they are proactive and thrive in structured settings, they are also very adaptable and eager to take feedback and continue to learn. They are also comfortable taking a step back when the parents and grandparents want to care for and/or spend time with the baby. Honest, discreet, and reliable, they bring relevant experience working with children, especially infants, along with a CPR and first aid certification.

Daily Rhythm:

This role centers around thoughtful, engaged care for an active and curious infant within a collaborative, calm home. The day flows around the baby’s needs, including feeding routines and bottle preparation, with close attention to her cow’s milk protein allergy. Sleep is still developing, so the nanny will approach naps with patience and consistency, adapting to the natural rhythm of the day rather than following a rigid schedule. She thrives on interaction and movement, so the nanny will spend time on the floor engaging her through play, supporting early communication, and responding to her cues as she explores and grows. This individual will also be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized environment related to the baby, including washing and sterilizing bottles and feeding items, as well as play spaces, ensuring the day feels steady and in order. With parents stepping in and out at times, the right candidate will navigate these moments with strong intuition, creating space for connection while maintaining a consistent, supportive presence.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of professional childcare experience
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Reliable and insured vehicle
  • Clean driving record & ability to pass a background check
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, multi-adult household
  • Pet friendly (family has a friendly Golden Retriever)
