Pay Rate:  $40.00 per hour + Overtime Rate / $115,000 Annually
Start Date:  Immediate
Hours:  Monday to Friday 7:30am-5:30pm (50 hours per week)

Job Details
Our client located in Coral Gables seeks a highly experienced career nanny to assume primary responsibility for their infant. This is a long-term position within a well-run household that values professionalism, consistency, and collaborative working style.

The family has two school-aged children supported by a separate nanny. This position is dedicated exclusively to the infant.

Nanny will provide developmentally appropriate care for the infant with an emphasis on calm, consistent routines.  Establish and maintain feeding and sleep schedules, support early developmental milestones through age-appropriate engagement, maintain a daily nanny journal documenting feeds, sleep, and notable observations. Oversee standard nursery duties, including organization of the child’s spaces, infant laundry, and preparation of bottles and, as age appropriate, simple meals. Nanny will coordinate closely with parents to ensure continuity of care and alignment with household preferences. Vehicle available for use during work hours.  Minimum of a 2-year commitment preferred. 

Requirements

• Minimum of 10+ years of nanny experience caring for newborns/infants
  • Demonstrated longevity in prior roles with exceptional references
  • Prior experience working in fully staffed households preferred
  • College degree preferred
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Valid driver’s license
  • High level of discretion, professionalism, and ability to work seamlessly with other household staff
  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow established household structure
