EXPERIENCED AND ORGANIZED CO-NANNY NEEDED FOR FAMILY IN HARRISBURG, PA

Location: Harrisburg, PA, 17112

Children: 3-year-old

Compensation: $35/hr

Schedule: 25 guaranteed hrs/week. Wednesday through Friday, 5:00 PM to 8:00 or 9:00 PM, and Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Benefits: 5 days of paid sick time, 3 days of paid time off, paid major holidays, a monthly healthcare stipend, a continuing education stipend, and mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate for on-the-job travel.

A returning Pink Nannies family is seeking an experienced, bubbly co-nanny to partner with them and their current full time nanny to support their care of their 3-year-old son.

Their 3-year-old “little man”, as Mom and Dad affectionately call him, is sweet, joyful, and energetic. Whether he’s dancing, playing with toy vehicles, or singing songs, he’s always up for good fun. He is an avid learner who enjoys practicing letters, words, numbers, and parts of the body, and he thrives when offered consistency and clear routines. He enjoys being outdoors, visiting book stores and the library once a week, hanging out at the park, and going for a walk. He also attends preschool twice a week and speech therapy once a week.

Family Environment: After a wonderful experience with their Pink Nanny, this close knit family is excited to welcome another exceptional caregiver to partner with them and their current full time nanny to care for their child. Mom and Dad, two hard working and compassionate parents, are devoted to their little one, and they’re seeking a nanny who brings relevant experience, organization, and teamwork skills. The ideal candidate is a highly experienced, responsible, and respectful nanny with a strong background in toddler care and a genuine passion for early childhood development. They are reliable, proactive, organized, and someone who easily adapts to the family’s rhythm and consistently shows up on time. They will be hands on, resourceful, and knowledgeable, seamlessly handling their child’s evening routine, which includes dinner, play, bath, and bedtime. Their perfect match will be intuitive, collaborative, and receptive to feedback. Bonus points if you have a degree in early childhood development or a related field.

Daily Rhythm: 

This individual will be responsible for all child related tasks, including planning fun, educational, age appropriate activities, assisting with bath and bedtime, and handling driving and providing sick care, if needed. Additional responsibilities will include preparing simple meals and snacks and cleaning up afterward, keeping their son’s common areas clean, laundering his clothes & linens, and texting updates throughout the day.

Qualifications: 

• 3 years of professional childcare experience
• A degree in child development or a related field is preferred 
• Valid Driver’s License
• Reliable and insured vehicle
• Ability to pass a background check & a clean driving record
• Clean driving record & ability to pass a background check

This position is paid legally, on a W-2, subject to regular deductions and withholdings as required by law.
