Inside Their World:

This thoughtful, well-structured household is seeking a proactive nanny who can confidently step in and guide the day with calm intention, bringing consistency and ease, while providing attentive care to their 17-month-old and their newborn daughters.

Their 17-month-old is observant, adventurous, and highly social. She thrives when she is included, spoken to, and actively engaged. She loves the outdoors, exploring, and learning through real-life experiences. She gravitates toward warm, expressive personalities and does best with someone present and interactive.

Their newborn is on a consistent feeding schedule and will continue developing into a structured routine. The family is hands-on and thoughtful in how they approach this stage.

The children are included in daily life, and the ideal nanny will approach each day with the same level of presence, care, and intention.

Family Environment:

Mom is warm, bubbly, and energetic, while also prioritizing structure, routine, and a well-run home. She values open, direct communication and appreciates a nanny who is receptive to feedback. Her approach is thoughtful and respectful, while still being clear about expectations.

Both parents are involved and may be in and out of the home or working from a separate office space. They are looking for someone who can confidently manage the day independently while maintaining alignment and communication. This family prioritizes being active, spending time outdoors, and creating meaningful, hands on experiences. They value healthy habits, consistency, and a home that runs with intention. This is a no-screen household where presence matters. The family follows a Montessori inspired, independence focused philosophy. They encourage their oldest to problemsolve, work through frustration, and build confidence through doing rather than being helped too quickly. When a child says “I can’t,” the approach is to offer guidance and encouragement, allowing them the space to build confidence rather than stepping in right away.

Who Thrives Here:

The ideal candidate is calm, dependable, and naturally attuned. They are warm and enjoy being fully present with children and take pride in creating a day that feels smooth, engaging, and well cared for. They are comfortable making decisions, taking initiative, and notice what needs to be done without requiring step-by-step direction. Familiarity with or an appreciation for a Montessori-inspired approach is highly valued, particularly in fostering independence and child-led engagement. They are open to feedback, communicate clearly, and value being part of a collaborative, respectful household. Above all, they genuinely enjoy this work and bring a positive, steady energy into the home.

Daily Rhythm:

Days are centered around engaging care, outdoor time, and creating a consistent, predictable flow. The nanny will plan activities, incorporate simple learning opportunities like colors and letters, and support both children through their daily routines and development. Responsibilities include preparing healthy meals and snacks, maintaining routines, supporting the newborn’s schedule, and keeping the children’s spaces organized. There is also light, child related household support such as laundry and tidying, with an overall goal of keeping the home running smoothly.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of professional childcare experience
  • Experience with infants and toddlers
  • Familiarity with or an appreciation for a Montessori-inspired approach is highly valued
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Comfortable working in a no-screen environment
  • Pet-friendly. The family has a friendly Mini Aussiedoodle
