Newborn Care Specialist/Night Nanny

📍This is a 5 day-per-week, in-home position based in Denver, CO. 
 
 
🏡This is a live-out arrangement. There are stairs in the home.

 

⏰Schedule is Sunday-Thursday nights, 8:30pm-6:30am

 

🗓️Start Date: September 20th, 2026

 

👶As a Newborn Care Specialist/Night Nanny you will provide full overnight care for a newborn baby.

 

🍼Your nightly tasks will include adhering to sleep schedules and goals as laid out by parents, monitoring infant well-being, responsive soothing, helping mother with nursing support and possible bottles, and diaper changes as required, as well as offering expert advice on newborn development and care practices. Responsibilities will also include cleaning of bottles, pump parts, baby's laundry, and other nursery items as discussed with family (toys, pacifiers, etc).

 

💉Family prioritizes the health and safety of their infant requesting CPR/First Aid as well recommended vaccinations for working with infants, specifically current/most recent Covid-19 vaccine, current/most recent influenza vaccine, TDap, MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella OR Titer test showing immunity), Negative Tuberculosis(TB) test, Varicella (Chickenpox) (Childhood vaccination or Titer test), Hepatitis B.

 

🤱This kind couple has worked with overnight caregivers before with their now 4-and-a-half year old daughter. They are flexible and hard working, and looking for someone they can positively connect with and trust with their new little one. Family may be in town to help support with the newborn.

 

 

Qualifications
 
-Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and rapport with this intentional and easy-going family.
 
-Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with parents and ability & willingness to track nightly activity on app.
 
-Experience or knowledge in basic newborn medical needs including administering typical infant medications (Mylicon, Tylenol etc).
 
-Understanding of newborn care practices, including feeding, sleep routines, and overall well-being.
 
-Relevant certifications such as CPR and First Aid. Additional newborn care certifications ideal.
 
-Demonstrated ability to work with infants and families in a professional and empathetic manner as evidenced by recent references.

-Previous 5+ years of consistent professional experience as a Nanny/Newborn Care Specialist required.

-Reliable transportation and ability to provide auto insurance and registration.
