Job Details
We are seeking on behalf of our client, an experienced Live-In Summer Nanny for their East Hampton residence for the summer season, mid-June through early September. The role supports the care of three children (ages 11, 9, and 4), who are visiting and will not be in residence full-time throughout the entire season. This is a full-time, live-in seasonal position.

The nanny will be responsible for the full daily care and supervision of three children during their time in residence, including planning and leading age-appropriate activities, outings, and summer programming, as well as overseeing beach, pool, and outdoor activities with a strong focus on safety. The role includes preparing simple, healthy meals and snacks for the children, coordinating daily schedules such as camps, playdates, and activities, and maintaining a structured, engaging, and supportive summer environment. Additional duties include light child-related housekeeping such as children’s laundry, tidying play areas, and organizing belongings, as well as occasional flexibility for evenings or adjusted schedules during family stays. Safe transportation of the children using the provided vehicle is also required.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of professional nanny experience
• Prior live-in nanny experience required
• Experience caring for multiple children in a private household setting
• Comfortable managing mixed-age children, including early childhood
• Valid driver’s license (vehicle provided)
• Competent Swimmer
• CPR/First Aid certification
• Strong references from prior private family employers
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
