A single working parent in Mountain View is seeking a nurturing, educational full-time nanny to care for their 3-year-old daughter. Responsibilities include engaging in play, supporting the child’s social-emotional development, planning activities, child laundry, preparing nutritious kid-friendly meals, and light tidying. Some flexibility to work in Watsonville on Fridays is appreciated but not required.

They are prioritizing candidates who align with gentle parenting or are experienced with RIE/Reggio/Montessori philosphies. Their ideal candidate is someone easygoing and positive, who is respectful and treats the child like a whole person. Ultimately the best person for them is reliable, active, engaged and a great communicator.

Experience Requirements

  • 2 years minimum experience working as a nanny with excellent verifiable references

Educational Requirements

  • Fluency in English

Qualifications

  • COVID-vaccinated + current on the booster + willing to mask at work if not feeling well
  • TB and Tdap
  • CPR Certified
  • Valid driver with clean record
