Schedule:

Monday through Friday, approximately 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Compensation: 

  • $26–$28 per hour (W-2) during the initial phase caring for one child (2.5 years old), based on experience, qualifications, and infant care background.
  • $28–$32+ per hour (W-2) following the birth of the twins, reflecting the increased responsibility of caring for multiple young children

About the Family & Position:

A warm, family-oriented household in Omaha/Elkhorn, Nebraska is seeking a full-time nanny to support them as they welcome newborn twins alongside their toddler. The mother is a stay-at-home parent and will be present, so this is a highly collaborative, team-based role focused on providing hands-on support throughout the day.

The family values kindness, flexibility, and a calm, supportive home environment. They enjoy outdoor activities, boating, and time in their close-knit neighborhood. They are seeking a long-term nanny who can grow with the family.

The ideal candidate is calm, dependable, and experienced with infants and toddlers, with strong emotional maturity and comfort working alongside a parent in the home.

The role will initially focus on the toddler to ensure consistency and stability during the transition, while also assisting with the newborn twins as needed. Their 1.5-year-old daughter is curious, energetic, and thrives with structure, gentle guidance, and a patient, nurturing caregiver.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive care for newborn twins and toddler throughout the day
  • Assist with infant feeding support, bottle preparation and cleaning, diapering, soothing, and nap routines
  • Collaborate closely with mother during postpartum recovery and daily household rhythm
  • Provide occasional care for all three children simultaneously during appointments or scheduling needs
  • Support toddler engagement through age-appropriate play, outings, and developmental activities
  • Maintain structured daily routines and smooth transitions throughout the day
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of children’s areas, toys, bottles, and laundry
  • Support light child-related household tasks integrated into daily care
  • Assist with outings as trust and routines are established
  • Potentially accompany the family on local activities such as parks, zoo trips, and neighborhood outings
  • Maintain open, collaborative communication with parents regarding routines and developmental updates

Qualifications:

  • 3–5+ years of childcare experience, with strong infant experience required
  • Prior professional nanny experience strongly preferred
  • Experience caring for multiple children highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of newborn care, infant routines, and developmental milestones
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with a stay-at-home parent
  • Reliable vehicle with valid insurance
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • CPR & First Aid certified (or willing to obtain prior to start)
  • Minimum age 21+
  • Non-smoker
  • Fully vaccinated (COVID-19 vaccination not required)
  • Comfortable around dogs (no pet care required)
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Strong, verifiable professional references
  • Willing to complete background and reference checks
  • Seeking a long-term placement for minimum 1-2 years
