Family Syllabus: This sweet family in Plano, Texas, is looking for a rockstar ROTA nanny to care for their growing daughter!  The family leads a grounded, intentional lifestyle and prioritizes privacy, discretion, and simplicity in their day-to-day lives. They are an intentionally unstaffed household who values and appreciates cleaning up after themselves and are focused on being present and creating a calm, warm, and nurturing environment where their 1-year-old daughter can grow and develop with the care and support of their nanny team, as well as two very present and devoted parents! Mom is a stay-at-home Mom, and Dad works from home full-time. Grandparents who live nearby often visit and are a cherished part of the family’s support system. The family loves to travel with friends and enjoys frequent short visits to NYC, trips to the Caribbean during winter holidays, and summer getaways in Europe. Discretion and privacy are of utmost importance and key to supporting this family, both at home and on the go. Currently, they are supported by another rotational nanny who has been with them since their daughter was a newborn. The family looks forward to finding a long-term partner who can ensure seamless transitions and strong, collaborative support, both in Texas and while the family travels. They deeply value education, kindness, music, reading, and play-based learning. Their home also includes one adorable, very small, hypoallergenic dog.

Ideal Candidate: This role is best suited for a warm, grounded, and emotionally intelligent rotational nanny who is deeply passionate about childcare and early childhood development. The family is seeking a career professional who will genuinely invest in their daughter’s growth by creating a nurturing, educationally focused environment that supports her intellectual, social, and physical development. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and confident in managing toddler routines, behaviors, healthy meal preparation, and child-related responsibilities independently, while also collaborating seamlessly with parents and the other rotational nanny. Strong communication skills, discretion, professionalism, and an understanding of ROTA dynamics are essential, along with the ability to travel frequently and confidently handle the physical demands that come with family travel and active childcare.

This is a hands-on, team-oriented role in a non-staffed household, requiring someone with a natural pitch-in attitude who is comfortable supporting light housekeeping, organization, pet care, and maintaining smooth household operations. Responsibilities include coordinating routines and activities, organizing children’s spaces, preparing meals, researching child-related resources, managing travel logistics, and maintaining detailed handoff notes between rotations. The family values a calm, flexible professional who can easily transition between relaxed home settings, public outings, and high-profile environments with confidence and ease. Additional preferred qualifications include experience caring for multiple children, knowledge of suburban/Texas family life, fluency in Mandarin or another language, an education-related degree, and Global Entry eligibility.
