A high-energy, fast-paced, and extremely busy family temporarily residing in California is seeking a confident,
proactive, and highly organized Family Assistant/Nanny to step into their home and provide meaningful support
during a very exciting season of life as they prepare to welcome their third child this August. This is a dynamic
role for someone who genuinely thrives in busy households, enjoys staying one step ahead, and is willing
to jump in wherever needed to help keep the home running smoothly. Mom is extremely hands-on and
involved, but is looking for an additional right-hand person who can confidently support the family in all aspects
of daily life.
The family has two children, ages 16 and 7, with a newborn on the way. While the primary focus
of this role will be supporting the youngest child and assisting with overall household needs, it is very
important to the family that the nanny naturally shows warmth, care, and attentiveness toward all children in the
home, even when primarily working with one child.
The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Wednesdays: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM Flexibility is essential for this role. During the first week following the arrival of the new baby, the family will require additional
support and extended hours.
Responsibilities Include
• Packing school and camp lunches
• Washing and preparing fruit/snacks
• Tidying and resetting common household areas throughout the day
• Household organization and maintaining systems
• Running family errands while the youngest child is at camp
• Supporting the overall flow and functionality of the household
• Jumping in proactively wherever help is needed
• Assisting with child-related household tasks and general family support
During the final two weeks of the position, the youngest child will no longer be attending camp.
The nanny will then transition into a more child-focused role and will be responsible for creating
engaging full-day schedules and planning fun outings and adventures outside of the home, including
activities such as:
• Aquariums
• Museums
• Parks & Local attractions
• Summer activities and enrichment outings

Additional Requirements
• Must have a reliable vehicle
• Must be comfortable using a personal vehicle for work-related errands and outings
• Mileage reimbursement will be provided at the current IRS mileage reimbursement rate
• Strong childcare references required
• Prior family assistant experience strongly preferred.
