Inside Their World:
An active and loving family is seeking a gentle and organized nanny/household manager to join them as they relocate to Dallas, Texas, and Mom returns to school. This role will focus on providing nurturing and flexible care for their 11-year-old and 7-year-old daughters and their 3-year-old son.
Their oldest child is an independent and funny 11-year-old girl. Assertive and bright, she is very into science and engineering and enjoys reading, cooking, playing lacrosse, and spending time outdoors. Whenever she is interested in a particular activity, she loves being engaged and helping out. At times, she can have difficulty navigating big emotions, so the ideal nanny will be emotionally intuitive, patient, and confident in supporting healthy emotional regulation.
Their middle child is 7 years old, and she’s an incredibly sweet and loving girl who thrives when others are present and actively engaged with her. Both creative and analytical, she enjoys arts and crafts, playing in the yard, and building and engineering. She is growing in maturity and learning how to manage her emotions.
Their 2-year-old boy is loving, self-confident, and sweet. Fearless and eager to be part of whatever his older sisters or the adults are doing, he loves exploring the world around him, playing with toys, crafting, and helping with everyday tasks.
Family Environment:
Mom and Dad aim to raise kind, respectful children who are mindful of the differences between cultures, perspectives, and people. They understand that each of their children requires a different level of discipline, encouragement, and motivation, and they strive to meet each child where they are developmentally and emotionally. At the same time, they maintain high standards when it comes to schoolwork, chores, responsibilities, and overall behavior. The ideal nanny will be aligned with this thoughtful and intentional parenting approach, balancing warmth and empathy with consistency, structure, and accountability. As a family, they love art, interactive exhibits, spending time outdoors, and traveling. They usually spend their family vacations in Disney World or at the beach. They also plan fun trips to different international destinations at least once a year.
Regarding hours, the summer schedule will be Monday, from 12 pm to 6 pm, Tuesday & Thursday from 8 am to 5 pm, and Wednesday from 1 pm to 10 pm. Starting in mid-August, the general schedule will be Monday and Tuesday from 3 pm to 10 pm, Wednesday and Friday from 2 pm to 6 pm, and Thursday from 2 pm to 10 pm. Flexibility is appreciated.
