FT Nanny Needed in Encino for 21 Month Old

The Nanny Edit is seeking a highly attentive, engaging, and experienced full-time nanny to support a loving, active family with their energetic and adventurous toddler son. This family is looking for a career nanny who truly enjoys being hands-on, playful, and fully present throughout the day while creating a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment. Their son is outgoing, curious, talkative, and constantly on the move. He loves music, dancing, books, outdoor adventures, water play, swings, balls, and active learning experiences. The ideal candidate will genuinely enjoy keeping up with a busy toddler and naturally incorporate creativity, outdoor exploration, developmental activities, and learning into the day-to-day routine. The family strongly values gentle, respectful caregiving and seeks someone who aligns with a calm and emotionally supportive parenting philosophy. They are looking for a nanny who believes in consistency, redirection, patience, and using moments of correction as opportunities for learning and growth. A calm demeanor, strong communication skills, emotional maturity, and professionalism within the home are extremely important to this family. Safety is the absolute top priority in this home. The ideal candidate will be highly attentive, proactive, responsible, and fully engaged while caring for their child. The family is specifically hoping to find someone who is deeply safety conscious, reliable, communicative, and trustworthy.

The ideal candidate will have:
• 3+ years of professional nanny experience, with strong toddler experience
• Experience working with busy, active toddlers ages 2+
• A background in childhood education or child development preferred
• Fluent English required
• Spanish or fluency in another language is a strong plus
• A warm, playful, energetic, and engaging personality
• A genuine love for outdoor activities, learning, reading, music, and hands-on play
• Strong communication and professionalism within the home
• The ability to travel with the family as needed
• Swimming ability required
• Driving ability is a plus This role will also include light child-related household support including:
• Child laundry
• Dishes
• Light tidying and organization
• Simple meal/snack preparation

Both parents work in tech, with one parent also involved in music and entrepreneurship. They are hoping to build a long-term, respectful, and collaborative relationship with the right nanny.
