Inside Their World:
This thoughtful, family-centered household is seeking a proactive nanny/family assistant who genuinely enjoys helping busy families thrive to partner with them long-term and support caring for their 8-year-old and 5-year-old daughters.
Their oldest daughter is 8 years old and is outgoing, empathetic, funny, and highly social. She makes friends easily, wears her heart on her sleeve, and approaches life with enthusiasm and curiosity. She loves basketball, swimming, bike riding, reading, and is currently enjoying the Harry Potter series.
Her younger sister is 5 years old and equally sweet, thoughtful, and determined. She loves dance, swimming, art, and helping in the kitchen. She is eager to make friends, loves being involved, and is beginning to develop a love of reading.
Both girls are well-behaved, excellent students, and thrive in a home where curiosity, conversation, and emotional awareness are encouraged.
Family Environment:
This is a warm, high-functioning household led by two loving parents who are deeply invested in their children. Like many busy families, they are balancing demanding careers, active schedules, and the day-to-day responsibilities of running a home. Mom is thoughtful, organized, nurturing, and relationship-driven. Dad is energetic, decisive, and solutions-focused. Together, they have created a home centered on kindness, communication, accountability, and genuine connection. They believe in creating structure while also giving their children space to express their emotions, ask questions, and develop confidence. They value patience, understanding, and helping children work through challenges rather than simply correcting behavior. Their ideal candidate for this role is someone who anticipates needs, thinks ahead, takes initiative, and helps create more space for them to focus on what matters most: spending quality time with their children. As a family, they enjoy going on vacation together, spending time with friends and family, enjoying local restaurants, and playing board games.
Who Thrives Here:
The ideal candidate is kind, organized, proactive, and highly dependable. They enjoy supporting children while also helping a household run smoothly behind the scenes. This professional takes ownership, communicates well, and confidently manages responsibilities without needing constant direction. This role is especially well-suited for someone who finds fulfillment in anticipating needs, solving problems, and creating order. The strongest candidates are emotionally intelligent, patient, calm under pressure, and capable of balancing childcare with family assistant responsibilities. Someone who is relationship-driven yet professional, thrives when performing organizational tasks, and takes pride in making life easier for the family, will thrive in this role.
Daily Rhythm:
In this hybrid role, the family assistant/nanny will help the household operate smoothly and care for their loving daughters, while reducing the mental load on two busy parents. The first portion of the day will focus primarily on family assistant responsibilities, including laundry, unloading and loading the dishwasher, light tidying and organization, grocery shopping or delivery unpacking, package returns, dry cleaning drop-off/pick-up, simple meal preparation following the family’s Blue Apron meal kits, packing school lunches, making beds, taking the family dog outside, stocking household essentials, and supporting larger organizational projects when time allows. In the afternoons, responsibilities shift toward supporting the children. Duties include school pickup, transportation to activities, homework support, preparing dinner, coordinating routines, and creating a calm, positive end to the day until parents return home.

This position is open to candidates who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
