Inside Their World:

This thoughtful, warm, and intentional family is seeking a professional nanny to care for their 14-month-old son and their baby girl due in December, and become a trusted part of their support system for years to come.

Their son is a happy, active 14-month-old who loves books, dancing, playground adventures, and exploring the world around him. He is curious, engaged, and especially enjoys flipping through books, discovering new things, and staying busy throughout the day.

The family is expecting a baby girl in December and would love to find someone who feels confident caring for both a toddler and a newborn as their family grows. Experience with young infants is highly valued, as both parents will be home on parental leave for the first three to four months following the baby's arrival before transitioning back into their regular routines.

Family Environment:

These parents describe their parenting style as warm, nurturing, supportive, and structured. They value routines while remaining flexible when needed and believe in encouraging independence, setting clear boundaries, and creating a calm, organized environment where their children feel secure and supported. They enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring their community, trying new restaurants, and making memories with family and friends.

This family appreciates trust, consistency, and thoughtful decision making. They appreciate partnering with capable professionals they can trust and who can confidently take the lead when appropriate.

The household operates with a balance of structure and flexibility. The parents appreciate open communication, reliability, and a caregiver who can confidently navigate day to day responsibilities while keeping them informed. They are seeking someone who can step into an established rhythm, exercise good judgment, and become a trusted presence in their children's lives.

Who Thrives Here:

This position is ideal for a nanny who takes genuine pride in ownership of their role. The right candidate is naturally organized, anticipates needs before they arise, and enjoys creating engaging days for young children without needing constant direction. Someone who is confident and caring for both a busy toddler and eventually a newborn will thrive here, particularly if they enjoy planning activities, supporting developmental milestones, and bringing a calm, steady presence to the home. This role is especially well suited for a candidate who is dependable, resourceful, and enjoys taking initiative while approaching challenges with a positive and solution oriented mindset.

Daily Rhythm:

Days will focus on caring for the children through play, exploration, outdoor adventures, books, and age appropriate activities that support their development and curiosity. The nanny will manage child related responsibilities, including meals and snacks, children's laundry, bottles, maintaining children's spaces, and planning engaging outings throughout the week. As the family prepares to welcome a new baby this winter, the nanny will help provide consistency and support during this exciting transition while working alongside both parents during and after their parental leave.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of professional childcare experience
  • Infant and/or newborn experience is highly preferred
  • Valid driver's license
