Inside Their World:
A loving first-time family is seeking an experienced Newborn Care Specialist to support them during the first few months of parenthood. Their son is a sweet, alert, and well-tempered newborn who is already showing signs of a strong and engaging personality. He enjoys tummy time, being talked to, singing, and spending time outdoors.
As new parents, Mom and Dad are intentionally approaching parenthood with flexibility, patience, and a desire to learn. They are actively paying attention to their son's cues and working to establish routines that meet his individual needs. Their goal is not to follow a rigid parenting philosophy but rather to create a nurturing environment where their child can thrive.
Family Environment:
This family values warmth, authenticity, and genuine connection. Mom is naturally drawn to creative, artistic, and emotionally intelligent people. They appreciate authentic individuals who are passionate about their work and view caregiving as a meaningful profession rather than simply a job. They are seeking a trusted partner during a transformative season of life. Someone who can offer guidance, answer questions, provide reassurance, and help them build confidence as parents without making them feel judged or overwhelmed. The home environment is collaborative and supportive. Mom works from home and appreciates professionals who can work independently while maintaining open communication.
Who Thrives Here:
This position is ideal for a Newborn Care Specialist who combines extensive infant knowledge with genuine empathy and emotional intelligence. The family would love someone who is warm, gentle, and approachable. The ideal candidate naturally builds trust and helps parents feel capable, informed, and supported throughout the newborn stage. They understand that every family is unique and can thoughtfully adjust their approach to meet the family's individual needs and goals.
Daily Rhythm:
The NCS will manage all newborn related care, including feeding, sleep support, diapering, and establishing early routines. Responsibilities also include maintaining the nursery, sanitizing bottles, and managing the baby’s laundry. The baby is currently formula-fed, eats approximately every 2-3 hours, and has already returned to his birth weight. He is described as a strong, alert baby who sleeps well during the day and is currently working on developing longer stretches of sleep at night.
Qualifications:
At this stage, we cannot provide any additional information about this position other than what has already been provided in the job description.
