About the Family
A warm, loving, active, and humor-oriented family is seeking an exceptional full-time nanny to become an important part of their son's daily life and development. The family consists of two parents working in the healthcare field. One parent works remotely from home while the other works outside the home. They value clear communication, kindness, respect, curiosity, movement, learning, proactiveness and creating meaningful experiences together as a family. Their son will be 14 months old when the position begins. He is a joyful, active, extremely curious little boy who loves books, music, movement, outdoor exploration, climbing, discovering new things, and engaging with the people around him. He is entering an exciting stage of independence and exploration, and the family hopes to find a nanny who is equally excited to support his growth and learning development. The family loves spending time outdoors, taking stroller walks, enjoying beach outings, having dance parties, and seeking new experiences that encourage both movement and learning.
The Ideal Candidate
This family is searching for someone who genuinely loves toddlers and finds joy in being fully engaged with them throughout the day. The family is seeking a nanny who is warm, positive, and naturally joyful, with a genuine love for working with young children. The ideal candidate is highly engaged, energetic, creative, and developmentally informed, while also bringing a calm, steady presence to the home. They value someone who is proactive and comfortable implementing without consistent guidance, dependable, safety conscious, and confident in supporting toddler development, with a low ego, can do attitude, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed. The ideal nanny is someone who smiles easily, "can do" attitude, gets on the floor to play, reads books enthusiastically, sings songs, creates opportunities for learning, and truly enjoys helping children discover the world around them.

The family values calm, respectful, and developmentally appropriate guidance. Their approach focuses on redirection, positive reinforcement, modeling appropriate behavior, consistent boundaries, age-appropriate explanations, emotional validation, and teaching rather than punishing. They are seeking a nanny who can support their son's growth with patience, empathy, and a thoughtful approach to learning and behavior. What Makes This Opportunity Special
This family deeply values the role a nanny plays and is committed to creating a respectful, highly communicative, and supportive working relationship. While the position is expected to run through at least March 2027, with the possibility of extension, the family understands that some professional nannies may be hesitant to accept a role with a defined end date. To support the right candidate, they are happy to provide a strong letter of recommendation at the conclusion of employment, clearly stating that the position was intended to be temporary and highlighting the nanny's contributions and strengths.
