Start: July
A family in Atherton is seeking exceptional long-term childcare support for their two girls (currently 20-months and 3.5 years old). Their eldest attends school Monday through Friday, and their youngest will gradually begin preschool part-time beginning in September. They are looking for a caregiver who is interested in becoming a reliable presence in their family. Stability, consistency, professionalism, and excellent judgment are extremely important as they hope to build a lasting relationship with this person.
Above all they are looking for someone experienced, professional, warm, and highly capable. They are particularly interested in candidates who have demonstrated longevity with previous families and are looking for a stable, long-term position where they can truly become part of a family’s support system.

Travel:
Candidates should be flexible and comfortable with traveling, or providing overnight care at their home when the parents are traveling. The nanny is usually needed to travel with them 3-4 times per year with most trips being 10 days max. Trips to England and Brazil are usually two weeks (they have a trip planned for England this summer for 17 days). Hours are extended during travel (sometimes 5 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and flexibility to adjust hours as needed is key.
