FULL TIME NANNY/FAMILY ASSISTANT

Summary:
A warm and welcoming family is seeking a compassionate, proactive, and dependable Nanny/Family Assistant to support their household and provide guidance and supervision for their high-functioning 14-year-old son. The ideal candidate will serve as a positive and engaging presence in the home, helping foster independence while offering support, encouragement, and companionship. The family's son attends a private school from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM and has a strong interest in math, science, and computer programming. While he requires minimal hands-on care, the family is seeking someone who can connect with him, communicate effectively, and provide patient, empathetic support when needed. In addition to childcare responsibilities, the role will include household support such as laundry, light housekeeping, coordinating household maintenance, scheduling vendors and service providers, and helping ensure the home runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis.

Required Skills:
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children or teens with special needs, autism spectrum disorders, or a related background such as an RBT, educator, therapist, or family assistant. A patient, understanding, and emotionally intelligent approach is essential, along with the ability to build trust and meaningful connections. Strong organizational skills, initiative, and the ability to independently manage household tasks and coordinate vendors are important. Candidates should be comfortable maintaining household organization, and supporting a busy family environment. An academic background or interest in STEM subjects is a plus, as the family's son enjoys math, science, and coding. The family is seeking someone kind, reliable, adaptable, and genuinely invested in supporting both their child and household.

Required Certifications:
3-5 Years Experience, 5+ Years of Experience, CPR & First Aid, Perfect DMV

Hourly/Salary:
35.-50.
