A private family in Boston's Seaport district is seeking a highly organized and proactive Estate Manager/Executive Household Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of their household and serve as a trusted partner to the family. This is a full-time, long-term position with a hybrid schedule that is partly remote but requires in-person presence as needed for property oversight, vendor coordination, and special projects.
 
The ideal candidate has prior experience supporting ultra-high-net-worth families, is comfortable balancing executive and household support, and brings exceptional judgment, follow-through, and discretion.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the family’s residence in Boston and ensure all household functions run smoothly
  • Coordinate vendors, service providers, maintenance, repairs, and household projects
  • Manage household budgets, bills, invoices, and general expense oversight
  • Organize family travel logistics, including flights, hotels, and related arrangements
  • Coordinate appointments, scheduling, and day-to-day logistics for the family as needed
  • Support household systems, calendars, and communication between staff, vendors, and the family
  • Assist with project management, household planning, and follow-through
  • Ensure home is maintained to a high standard
Schedule
  • Full-time, long-term position
  • 5 days per week
  • On-call availability as needed
  • 40 guaranteed hours per week with possible additional hours as needed
  • Hybrid structure: majority remote, with in-person presence required for household oversight, projects, and vendor management
Compensation & Benefits
  • $150,000 annual salary

Qualifications
  • Prior experience working with UHNW / private families is required
  • Experience managing household operations, vendors, projects, and travel logistics
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • High level of discretion, professionalism, and emotional maturity
  • Ownership mentality with strong follow-through and attention to detail
  • Flexible, calm under pressure, and able to anticipate needs
  • Comfortable supporting both household and executive responsibilities
  • Respect for and familiarity with Asian culture strongly preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and strong driving skills required 
  • Willingness to sign an NDA

  • Live-out position
  • One young child in the home - child care is not required, however comfortability and familiarity with young children is necessary
  • One family dog in the home - no pet care required, however comfortability with dogs is needed 
  • Vehicle available for work-related driving
