FULL-TIME CAREER NANNIES – TRIBECA, NY – TRAVEL + HAMPTONS RESIDENCY – MUST BE NYC-BASED

A warm, active family based in Tribeca is seeking three exceptional Career Nannies to join a collaborative childcare team supporting two young children, including a preschool-aged child and a toddler. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced childcare professionals who thrive in a team-oriented environment and are seeking a long-term role with a wonderful family.

The family is creating a three-nanny team designed to provide consistent, high-quality coverage throughout the week. All nannies will be guaranteed 40 hours per week and will participate in a evolving schedule that includes both weekday and weekend coverage. Flexibility, strong communication, and a collaborative mindset are essential, as the nanny team will work closely together to ensure seamless support for the children and family.

The family resides in New York City throughout much of the year and spends summers in the Hamptons from approximately May through Labor Day. Domestic and international travel is also required. Live-in accommodations will be provided during Hamptons residency periods and when traveling with the family.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate care for two young children
• Support children's daily routines, schedules, activities, and overall well-being
• Foster a positive, engaging, and structured environment that encourages learning, growth, and independence
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with fellow nannies to ensure seamless coverage and consistency
• Assist with children's meal preparation, organization, and child-related household tasks
• Accompany the family on domestic and international travel as needed
• Transition between live-out support in New York City and live-in support during Hamptons residency and travel periods
• Support weekday, evening, weekend, and holiday coverage as part of a rotating schedule
• Maintain discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times
• Partner closely with parents to support household routines, expectations, and family preferences

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7+ years of professional nanny experience within private homes
• Experience supporting toddlers and preschool-aged children
• Prior experience working in UHNW households strongly preferred
• Previous ROTA experience strongly preferred
• Experience working collaboratively within a nanny team or alongside household staff preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable adapting to changing schedules and evolving family needs
• Professional, polished, and highly dependable
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Passport and ability to travel domestically and internationally required
• Must be based in the New York City area
• Long-term mindset and commitment to building a lasting relationship with the family

Location: Primary residence based in New York City with seasonal residence in the Hamptons. Domestic and international travel required, including travel to California and Europe.The family resides in the Hamptons from approximately May through Labor Day. Schedule

• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• Rotating schedule among a team of three nannies, but this is not a ROTA position.
• Weekday and weekend coverage required
• Flexibility for evenings, holidays, travel, and schedule adjustments as needed
• Team schedules will be coordinated to ensure consistent coverage while allowing regular time off for all nannies

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting at $50-55/hour (DOE)
