Proactive & Autonomous Family Assistant Needed in Glen Park, SF

A family in the Glen Park area of SF is seeking a proactive Family Assistant. Duties include a combination of household and childcare such as running errands, preparing simple dinners for the family, packing kids’ lunches for school, light tidying and organizing, family laundry, and post-dinner clean-up. Their children are 7-months and 3-years old and both in school full-time until 5pm. The FA will be responsible or school pick-up and helping with the evening routine.

Their ideal candidate excels at working autonomously and doesn’t need a lot of direction; an experienced FA who sees what needs to be done and is comfortable jumping in will be the best fit!

Experience Requirements

• 2 years minimum experience working as a family assistant with excellent verifiable references

Educational Requirements

• Fluent in English

• COVID-vaccinated (ideal)
• TB and Tdap
• CPR Certified
• Valid driver with clean record (family will reimburse for mileage if candidate uses their own car; they are also open to providing a household vehicle)
• Detail-oriented
• Proactive
• Autonomous; sees what needs to be done and tackles it

• Excellent communication
• Can make at least year commitment

Responsibilities

• Care for the children
