Inside Their World:
This loving family is looking for an experienced career nanny who genuinely loves what they do and understands the importance of building a strong connection with children. They are hoping to find someone who is warm, present, and engaged, creating a nurturing environment where their son feels supported, encouraged, and cared for.
Their 5-month-old son is full of personality. He's incredibly charming, curious, and happiest when he's actively engaged with the people around him. Like many babies his age, he knows exactly what he wants and isn't shy about letting everyone know. Fortunately, he's equally easy to comfort with a patient caregiver, a change of scenery, or simply being held close. He thrives on interaction, stimulation, and one-on-one engagement, making this a wonderful opportunity for a nanny who genuinely enjoys the infant stage and all of the growth that comes with it.
The family would appreciate someone helping him transition from contact naps to sleeping more independently in his crib and would appreciate someone who can confidently and gently support healthy sleep habits while remaining responsive to his needs.
Family Environment:
This household is calm, relaxed, and easygoing.
Mom is naturally nurturing, attentive, and structured. She embraces a gentle parenting philosophy built around responsiveness, affection, and consistency. Dad balances her with a calm, flexible, and easygoing personality. Together, they've created a home where kindness, patience, and emotional connection are valued above perfection.
As parents, they practice a gentle, responsive parenting style focused on affection, attentiveness, and meeting their child’s needs with care. They value a balance of warmth, consistent routines, and age-appropriate boundaries to create a secure and nurturing environment.
Both parents work from home in separate office spaces and are available if needed, but they deeply respect the nanny's professional role. They communicate primarily by text, utilize the Huckleberry app to track feedings and naps, and do not expect constant updates throughout the day. They appreciate professionals who can confidently manage the day independently while communicating important information when necessary.
Who Thrives Here:
This position is ideal for a nanny who naturally brings peace into a home.
Patience is the quality they value most in candidates. They are looking for someone who remains calm during difficult moments, adapts their approach instead of becoming frustrated, and genuinely enjoys helping an infant learn and grow through loving interaction.
The ideal nanny is warm, emotionally mature, and naturally engaging. They enjoy spending time on the floor, reading books, singing songs, narrating everyday routines, encouraging developmental milestones, and finding simple ways to keep their son curious and stimulated throughout the day. They are seeking someone who views childcare as a profession and who finds fulfillment in creating a joyful, nurturing environment where their child feels safe, loved, and engaged.
Reliability is equally important, and the family hopes to welcome someone looking for a long-term position who values consistency and punctuality, communicates professionally, and becomes a trusted extension of the family.
Daily Rhythm:
Each day will center around supporting the family's infant through age-appropriate play, developmental activities, feeding, naps, and loving interaction.
Child-related responsibilities include preparing bottles, washing bottles and feeding supplies, children's laundry, keeping the nursery and play areas organized, tidying up after activities, rotating toys, and folding the family's clean laundry.
