Full Time Nanny for School Year

Summary:
Seeking an experienced, adaptable, and energetic nanny for a dynamic family with two children (1.5 years and 6 years old) in downtown Manhattan. This is a non-live-in position with a 42-week annual schedule and SUMMERS OFF, giving the candidate the flexibility to work elsewhere or travel during the summer months. The role runs Monday through Friday, 7am to 7pm. The ideal candidate will bring warmth, professionalism, and structure while adapting to the needs of a family led by two entrepreneurial parents. Required Skills:
Core responsibilities focus on childcare for both children, including managing schedules, coordinating school communication for the 6-year-old, and leading age-appropriate developmental activities such as sensory integration and baking with the younger child. The right candidate must have a valid driver's license and be comfortable traveling with the family a few times a year during the school year if needed. Interested candidates must be socially adept, able to network with other nannies, and confident creating activities suited to each child's developmental stage. The role requires the ability to work independently while taking direction well, showing initiative in planning ahead, and maintaining healthy professional boundaries.
