A family in Tiburon is seeking an experienced, loving nanny for their daughter who is currently 10 weeks old. Their ideal candidate is nurturing, focused on development, and looking to build a long-term relationship with their family. Responsibilities include working on milestones, engaging at baby’s level, helping with developmental transitions, child laundry, and light tidying. The best person for them is attentive, caring, and organized with attention to detail. Travel is needed approximately five times per year. Most trips are domestic, with one to two international trips annually. Trips are typically 5-7 days.

Above all, the family is looking for someone who is proactive and enjoys making the parents’ lives easier while creating a fun, nurturing environment for their child. Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a nanny with excellent verifiable references

Educational Requirements

  • Fluency in English

  • TB and Tdap
  • CPR Certified
  • Valid driver with clean record and reliable vehicle (family will reimburse for mileage or may purchase a vehicle in the future for nanny to use)
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel (international / domestic); family travels about 5 x year and trips are typically 1 week

Responsibilities

  • Creating a routine and schedule for the baby
  • Engaging in play (reading, singing, conversing with baby)
  • Planning age appropriate activities, classes, and outings
  • Driving to activities
  • Preparing, washing, sanitizing bottles
  • Prepare baby-friendly meals
  • Assisting with developmental milestones and transitions (solids, naps, potty training, etc.)
  • Child laundry
  • Light tidying (nursery, play and common areas)
